Advent Bible Reading Plan 2026: Daily Readings from 29 November to Christmas
Updated: 2 hours ago
Advent is the season of waiting and preparing for Christmas. In 2026 it begins on Sunday 29 November and leads up to Christmas Day on Friday 25 December. Here is a simple daily Bible reading plan for all 27 days, from the prophets who promised a Saviour to the night He was born.
How to use this plan
Read one passage a day. Most take less than five minutes.
Many churches light a candle each Sunday of Advent for hope, peace, joy and love. The four weeks below follow those themes.
After reading, ask: what does this show me about Jesus, and how can I prepare my heart for Him today?
Families can read together at dinner and talk about one question.
